The History of our Citroen...
In the late 1980's I came across the car in a very poor state and like many others thought... Hmmm I'll restore that one day and so put it into storage on a friends farm in a chicken barn (what was i thinking ?) anyway it then sat there for years, how many about 25.
My father Andrew Kemp a Watchmaker and Jeweller in Bexhill for over 50 yrs retired in 2005 and I gave him the car to restore in his retirement and what a job he did... He managed to completely strip the car back to the chassis sandblast and restore the engine and running gear
.
In 2014 it was my wife that said "why don't you call that TV company Car SOS" ! to get the car finished, a few months later I did email them and the rest is well history they came and finished the car for my Father...
Pictures below of the incredibly journey over my 40yrs of owning the car..... enjoy, it was built in 1950's in France and is left hand drive, interestingly there was a Citroen factory in Slough that built right hand drive models, we are not sure when or how ours got to the UK. If your interested I have a huge amount of history on the car.....
